Félicitations - Taylor Ford, capitaine de l'équipe Bantam AA, Les Aigles de Trois Lacs, qui a été choisi pour représenter la Province de Québec au tournoi ''Quebec Blue'' Midget espoir.

Le midget AA - Phoenix Trois Lacs / Beauval sont champions au tournoi de St Leonard

Our Super Midget AA team was rated second to last to win out the St-Leonard tournament of the pool of teams who enter the St- Leonard International Midget AA tournament.

In the semi -finals we were losing 3-2 with 1:30 left in the game . I pull out our goalie for extra attacker and scored with 52 seconds left. Game went into overtime and we had to start shorted hand " 4 on 3 " for 4 minutes. Our P.K. did a great job during the time shorthanded, Voltigeurs de Drummondville took a penalty with 40 seconds left in our penalty. We went on the P.P afterwards and scored 35 second into it. Our players showed a lot of passion during the whole game.
The finals took place the next day against "Pionniers de Lanaudiere. Game was very close and at the end of the 3 period we were ties 2-2, first overtime period was very close for both team with a lot of great goaltending. Second overtime period was very close again and with 4 minutes left in the period Vaudreuil native Cedric Dandurand was sent on a breakaway with a pass from Joe Joannette and was pulled down at the last second and still was able to get the shot away to scored the winning Championship goal. Le midget AA, Phoenix - Beauval/Trois Lacs sont finaliste au tournoi de Kiwanis. 

After coming of an emotional game the follow week we were off to the International "Kiwanis" Midget tournament which is the biggest held in Quebec.

We started the first tournament game with a win 5-3. Second game we beat one of our league top teams 7-3 Conquerants Basses Laurentides note who has beat us twice this season already. Our third we beat Westlake 5-0 whom is also in our league and also beat us three times this season. Game 4 we beat Citadelles de Rouyn-Noranda 5-3.
Finals took place the next day against Conquerant Basses Laurentides. The Conquerants came out very strong and took a 2 -0 lead in the first period. Our players never gave up and were giving 150 % every shift, the second period was back and forth for both team no scoring. We came out strong the 3 period and scored 2 minutes in the period and with 1:30 left in the game we had a face off deep in our in zone, center Joe Joannette won the faceoff to defensemen David Sirois and with a great outlet pass to Cedric Dandurand sent him on a breakaway and scored a highlight goal.
Overtime was tense for both teams and we had a bad call against us and Conquerants went on P.P. scored with 5 seconds left on the penalty to end a great run of wins!

Not only did we finished has "Finalist" we came out with 3 additional team awards!
1) "Top scorer " Cedric Dandurand 7 goals 3 assists 10 points
2) "Best goalie" " Felix Seguin .971 % avg
3)" Most disciplined " team during the whole tournament

Team played 10 games in 13 days!!!

I very proud of all the players for all the adversity they have shown and overcame during the past 2 tournaments we showed to all that Great Work Ethic and Passion you all can achieve whatever you want.
